Yearly expense tracking workbook with tan-colored individual monthly spreadsheets. Each spreadsheet in the template offers dated entries with total spent, category, description, payment type, and balance, along with a graph of spending in categories and payment types.
This is my personal template for keeping track of my expenses. I know there are automated services and credit cards have online sites, but I manually input my receipts to double check. I'm kinda anal. Anyway, I decided to share it. It sometimes loads slowly because there are 12 sheets, one for every month. If you wish, you can create a new file for each month and delete the rest of the sheets. Feel free to mod it to your own personal situation or leave a comment requesting changes or improvements. Remember to put a minus sign next to debits so that the calculations don't go screwy. -Max

Hello,
Pls tell me how to add a new category… Thanks NJ
We’ll add it for you.
That doesn’t answer the question. How does one add a category without having to rely on iWork to add it?
not possible, sorry
Do you charge to make changes?
I am trying to put together an expense accounting for a European trip. The items are not in chronological order, but I would definitely want them to sort chronologically. I could enter receipts and every now and then resort them, but then the balance cell would not be correct, because the balance formula does not appear to be flexible. It appears to be dependent on a static placement of data that is entered chronologically, and does not change. Also, is it possible to have a data entry table or line, and have a completed entry automatically fill in at the appropriate spot on the spreadsheet?
Hi Max!
Thank you for this template, it’s kind of what I’ve been looking for a while now!
Is there any chance that you could make one for me with different categories and payment types?
All the best,
Ida
Hell0, would it be possible to have a total year expenses versus budget? In other-words combining all 12 months for a grand-total? Thank you.
Any way to change it to a different currency?
