Welcome to iWorkCommunity

iWork is Apple’s productivity software suite, consisting of Pages (a word processor), Keynote (presentation software), and now Numbers (a spreadsheet app). These applications are phenomenally designed (in our opinion), easy to learn, and efficient to use. iWork is built around the use of templates – and the templates provided by Apple are great! But we felt there would be a strong demand for more; so we set up this site to allow the community of iWork users to share what they have created.

Jobs that need to be sent to a professional printer for publishing often require special marks to be properly processed by the printer. Pages doesn't print these marks natively, so I created this template. It includes crop marks, registration marks, calibration bars and progressive color bars. Registration and crop marks are properly set up so that they will print on each color of a CMYK separation. There is room for about 0.25" of bleed for elements that print right to the edge of the page.

Here is an alternative letterhead from the business letter that is included with Pages. The logo placeholder is upper left with address and contact info on the upper right.

Slight deviation from the included classic resume template. Provides a much cleaner look.

This template is based on an Issue Fact Sheet that I prepared for a client to be used in communicating with legislators and other policy makers. It has room for a logo (currently a text box), a title, issue background and recommended strategies, plus background and contact information for your organization.
