Welcome to iWorkCommunity

iWork is Apple’s productivity software suite, consisting of Pages (a word processor), Keynote (presentation software), and now Numbers (a spreadsheet app). These applications are phenomenally designed (in our opinion), easy to learn, and efficient to use. iWork is built around the use of templates – and the templates provided by Apple are great! But we felt there would be a strong demand for more; so we set up this site to allow the community of iWork users to share what they have created.

This is an award for junior school [5-10 year olds] students, based on an Appleworks template, and uses the actual border from that template. When you insert a student's name, you need to insert the capitals separately, so they are in a larger font: otherwise, you will have all "lower case" letters.

A nice template for technicals reports inspired from the Pages documentation. DIN A4, blue titles, paragraphs with indentation, table of contents. 3 levels of headings (section, subsection, subsubsection).

Group Evaluation is a template for a team evaluation for group work. It features rating questions with 5 checkboxes, written answer questions, and a Participation Pie. It can, of course, be easily modified to suit other purposes.

Lesson Plan is a template for making lesson plans based on the work of Madeline Hunter and Barrie Bennett. Stylistically, it is based on the "Quiz" and "Evaluation" templates provided with Pages, to give a consistent look and feel. For more information on Lesson Design, I would strongly encourage you to find a copy of Beyond Monet by Barrie Bennett and Carol Rolheiser.
